How to make superfood crackers
Always looking for new Superfood combinations this morning I found this amazing receipt and would like to share it with you. Superfood crackers, a super healthy concentrate snack.
We all know the benefits of hemp, chia seeds and spelt, anyway I will write a short resume of them:
Hemp: It has many health benefits for athletes including its uses as an anti-inflammatory, an anti-oxident, and for improved recovery time. It helps restore balance in body, promotes general wellness. Hemp seeds are Superfood containing Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids as well as high levels of protein all.
Spelt: The health benefits of spelt include its ability to help in regulating the body’s metabolism, aid in the creation of sex hormones, increase circulation, build strong bones, improve the immune system, boosting digestive function, lowering blood sugar, and reducing cholesterol levels in the body.
Chia Seeds: They regulate the release of carbohydrates in a long term period, this means that you can use a provisions of energy that allow you to extend your performance. Prevent from joint pain and inflammation because they are the rich of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of omega-3 fatty acid. Rich in Amino Acids and Antioxidants, with Chia Seeds you can have a better and fast recovery time.
Let’s see the Ingredients for making 100 Crackers:
180g pastry flour (or all-purpose flour)
100g spelt flour
28g hempseed flour
3 tbs extra virgin olive oil
2 tbs linseeds
2 tbs chia seeds
2 tbs poppy seeds
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp salt
175 ml water
extra flour for rolling
